Happy Victoria Day to my Canadian friends! To celebrate the unofficial start of summer, Sugar Beach is the ideal spot to be. This 2-acre public space located at the foot of Lower Jarvis Street is Toronto’s second urban beach park by the waterfront. Designed by Claude Cormier, Sugar Beach is adjacent to the Redpath Sugar Factory (thus, the name) and to the Corus Entertainment and George Brown College buildings.

Bio-wall inside Corus Quay

Inside Corus Quay is a public artwork by London, England based artists, Troika. Entitled Shoal, the artwork spans across a 50 meter corridor with hundreds of fish-like objects in iridescent colours that are suspended from the ceiling and rotate at a certain rhythm to evoke movement.
